My monitor was just calibrated and there are no blown out highlights in the shot. If anyone questions that, tell them to download the photo, open it in Photoshop, and measure the highlights. They're way below 255, about 245 on the faces. The only blown out spot in the photo is the specular highlight on the ball under the little table which is 255 in a couple of places. Rather than endless nattering about monitors that you see on so many lists, just measure the photo! When preparing photos for publication I never rely solely on how they look on a monitor, but on measuring highlights, shadows, and midtones, and matching them to publisher's specifications.
