I have an Alpha automatic watch, it looks like, and works like a Rolex 
Explorer II. Now I have compared them side by side at a jewelers. I 
would guess the Rolex costs about twice as much to make as the Alpha. 
The Rolex lists for over $5000. The Alpha cost me $45. Note that the 
Rolex is 100 times as expensive as the Alpha. People will pay a premium 
for the name.
