You're right, he did retract. Or, more likely, the bid was retracted without his knowledge. The retracted bid was his second bid. His first bid remained the high bid after all the others were retracted. I spoke to one of those whose bid was retracted. He thought I did it. He said he certainly didn't request that. he also bid again and was the second highest bidder. I thinkk that what happened was that the one guy who has retracted 81 bids, or some obscene number like that, retracted. Ebay then retracted four other bids along with his. I don't know if that was because the bid chain was broke, or if it was just a system glitch. But I believe only the one bid was intentionally retracted. In any case, it's over, and I think the buyer is okay. We'll see.
