The likey ADC/pre-processor has a 22bit ADC but depending on the model
outputs a 16, 14 or 12 bit data stream. The relevance of the following
processor in the coming camera is purely speculative however it's
still worth a read as it gives an insight to how such technology may
be of benefit.
