The likey ADC/pre-processor has a 22bit ADC but depending on the model outputs a 16, 14 or 12 bit data stream. The relevance of the following processor in the coming camera is purely speculative however it's still worth a read as it gives an insight to how such technology may be of benefit. http://www.nucoretech.com/nu3/images/80_downloads/pb_ndx2240.us.pdf#search=%22pb_ndx2240.us.pdf%22 -- Rob Studdert HURSTVILLE AUSTRALIA Tel +61-2-9554-4110 UTC(GMT) +10 Hours [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://home.swiftdsl.com.au/~distudio//publications/ Pentax user since 1986, PDMLer since 1998 -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [email protected] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net
