Even if they did strip and recoat the lenses, however, based on the
work I've seen from them I doubt you would find any fault with their
work. They are top notch, the lenses that have been restored by them
after heinous coating damage have proven to be superb performers.

Thanks for the clarification, Godfrey. I did once contact him about an 
F* 300 F4.5 I got on eBay that had something on the rear element. In the 
end I just sent the lens back. A pity, because otherwise the lens was 
pristine.

But however good he may be, though, surely he can't put on a coating 
that is as good as SMC ghostless.
