I assume that the power contacts will be in the same place.  This means
that the basic power zoom functionality (motor-driven zoom, controlled
by the ring on the lens) ought to work; all that needs from the body is
power.  As for the additional power zoom modes (zoom clip, image size
tracking, and so forth) - that very much depends on the software.  It's
up to the programmers whether they decide to implement the feature in
a K10D; the communication path (the digital signal pin) is present.

I think Pentax would have to go out of their way to prevent PZ lenses
from working at least in basic mode, and I don't see them doing that.
If (as I expect) they work just as they do on my MZ-S I'll be happy.
