I've done it before on film with the LX and mirror lockup and a remote
release behind the same rig.  And the system is about 50 # (surveyor's
tripod plus 5 gallons of water tripod ballast plus the camera rig itself
plus I think 2.5 # of ballast draped on the camera rig in different ways
or not at all as I experiment).
