Forward thinking? And I don't think a DA 400mm would be that much smaller. They may have no plan now for a full frame body, but in the future it may become viable. IMO it is short sighted to design lenses only for APS sized sensors. Considering the upcoming "USM" it would be particularly stupid on their fast primes & zooms. I know, I know...APS-C is fine and a lot of people are happy with the current arrangement (Personally I have no problems with it) and see no reason for full frame, but every time I pick up my LX and look through the viewfinder I sigh, and think of what could be.
