Sorry Bob, the anaconda/python thing was an inside joke between myself and Doug Brewer (and other 2006 GFM participants who heard the story). Apparently Doug's 7-year-old son announced one day, in the kind of startling non-sequitur of which 7-year-olds make a specialty, that the reticulated python, rather than the anaconda, is the largest snake in the world.
