I think most of us bring a ton of gear to GFM is two fold. 1- To show it off.
2- Its a long way home to get my lens i "should have brought" LOL In the both times attending GFM, i brought everything but a kitchen sink. I have an extra one now, so i can bring that along to.:-) I really only needed 1 body and two lenses, but i brought all my Nikon digital, all my Pentax digital, all my lenses for both, two film bodies just in case, and my MF body and lenses. This year i threw in the Yashic Mat for fun. The ist D and 28-105/100 f2.8 got the most work out, followed by the D200 and Tamron 90 macro, and 70-200 VR.:-) Dave Quoting Shel Belinkoff <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>: > Think of all the gear some people carry today - far heavier and more > cumbersome than a couple of bodies and lenses plus film (which could > usually be purchased just about anywhere, so there was little need to carry > lots of film around as part of stock).
