Sorry for all the OT' s lately. Just got back from the Trillium Championships. Our horse, and the young lady that part boardes her, qualified for the Hack division. Its kinda boring to some, all they do is walk trot and canter, but in various degrees of difficulty, and she did very well. She won the show hack, which is the most tricky of them all, and was tied for overall Reserve Champion, which is a fancy way of saying second. The tie breaker was on confirmation, and the judge noticed the little bump our mare has on one leg and gave it to the other rider.
All in all, not bad for someone who only started rider her in mid June. Oh and see finishes in second over all in our zone for the year. Gets a nice big ribbon at the banquet Sept 30.
