I haven't posted a message in a while, and my apologies that it's a FS solicitation.
Brand new, 500GB Maxtor Fabrik drive. It is a network drive with software for creating on the fly web pages, both private and public. Set up is pretty easy, it's just way more than I need -- purchased in a fit of impulse. The drive has a built-in ethernet card and USB 2.0 slots for expansion (this allows you to add drives, but I don't think you can make the connected drive another server). For the sake of full disclosure, this is an unopened replacement drive; the one I bought had an earlier version of the software that caused the drive to malfunction if you tried to copy a file bigger than 1 gigabyte. This has been resolved through an update which you can download once you install the drive. Again, while this drive exceeds my needs to an impossible degree, setting up (on a Mac no less) was very easy, and the drive and software worked as promised. $450, shipping included.
