Pentax has taken a credibility hit for a long time by including pop-up flashes on their cameras from folks who believe it's strictly an amateur feature (there's even a blurb about this in this months Pop Photo by Mr. Keppler, pg.47). Despite this, I've always liked having the choice of the flash for severely back-lit situations and fill falsh outdoors (and for indoor grab shots with slower lenses). But, I agree that on a high end model, the wireless flash triggering of the pop-up is a definite must, as this is the "pro" feature. Otherwise, why on earth include the flash at all? Like you say, get rid of it altogether and lose the weight and size and sell more af540-FGZ's. I'm hoping that this is just presumption and a misreading of the specs. -Brendan __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Tired of spam? Yahoo!
