Not in October timing anyway. However, there will be a lot of report coming out in various forums in Japan and I can summarize and report. This "Seminar" thing is a fad in the Camera industry in Japan, and everybody is doing it, although I am a bit surprised that Pentax is on this bandwagon :-). But it is a clear indication that Pentax are serious in competing and doing the same thing competitors are doing. Canon did it for their Rebel (400D), Nikon for D200, and recently D80. But the biggest extravaganza was Sony's Alpha. However, as far as I could tell, these are just shows and not much substance in them. It's like mfr's private show and mostly let visitors actually handle the models (which is important). "Seminar" sounds big but because of the demography of usual visitors for this sort of event, it's apparently mostly an overview. Interview with designers etc are separately showing up on web sites (not much onK10D yet) and they are usually in-depth. I will try to kep my eye on them and report when I can.
