Not just photo mags. Yesterday I was flipping through "National Geographic Traveler" and there was a nice full-page K100D ad. It emphasized "small and light" and "Shake Reduction" - obviously the two big selling points of that fine camera. A few pages before it was a Sony Alpha ad which I've also noticed in photo and travel ads lately. They seem to be going for an "upscale" look...
