Coolness! I just built a roll-up 2m J-pole I'm taking with me on a hiking trip in the Shining Rock Wilderness (Nantahala NF area) next week (Also bringing a K1000 and a few lenses, of course!). Gonna string the antenna up in a tree and see if I can hit the Mount Mitchell (actually on Clingman, I think) repeater from there. :)
