I asked my local camera store if I could order a K10D and they said would check with Pentax and would let me know early next week. It was Saturday when I asked so obviously they would have to wait for a business day to talk with Pentax. I will order one if I can ...but David's, comments suggest that may not be possible as I too am in western Canada.
