I knew you guys couldn't resist that subject line. Back when we were all trying to rationalize paying for our istD or variant I built a little spreadsheet to calculate how much money I saved every time I punched the shutter button on the D.
It was relatively simple, based on the cost of film, processing and printing. We'll just ignore the fact that I wouldn't have taken anywhere near the number of film images. But, pretending that I would have taken all of those shots, I've already paid for the new body, vertical grip, and a bunch of memory cards. I may as well use up the balance on another lens! Anyone know where I can redeem my spreadsheet for cash?
