Thank you guys, for the words of comfort. It does help. Simply because you
are wonderful.

I feel kind of relieved, partly because it was tough decision to make, but I
know it was the right one.
He was in pain. Now I'm in pain, but that's easier to handle. I've been thru
it before.

Life will go on. We will get another. Don't know what kind of dog yet. Maybe
a Rottie. Ludvik was of obscure mixed origins. We might let faith decide and
just take care of whatever comes our way. Or we might go for a puppy, but
this is not the nest time of year to get a puppy in Norway.

Subject: I feel sad today

Yesterday I lost a dear friend of mine, Ludvik.
You may remember him
http://www.photosight.org/photo.php?photoid=37379&ref=author

He has been sick for about four weeks. Yesterday I had him for a final trip
to the vet. I had to carry him out in the car. The verdict was bone cancer.

I took him home again. After a few hours that seemed endless, the vet came
to us and gave him the final medication. He fell asleep at the kitchen
floor. Now he is resting in my backyard, next to Peggy my beloved Labrador.

Today I went out looking for some leave shot for the PUG by his grave. It
felt like a good way of honouring him.
Light was flat. Retrying tomorrow.

(Jostein. You may find it strange that I did not mention this at Sunday. I
was not able to speak about it then. To hard decisions to make...)
