I see no point to buying an F50/1.4 over an FA50/1.4. They're the same lens. The FA mount is slightly better quality IMO, based on comparison of the F50/1.7 and FA50/1.4 lenses.
A new FA50/1.4 cost me $220, plus $10 shipping, about six months ago.
