LOL!!! You are just bored. ;-)

I played the two sound recordings side by side. The Nikon D80 reminds
me of nothing so much as my old Nikon FM+MD2 "gallop"ing sound ... a
clacky-clattery but solid kind of noise maker. The Nikon F3/T+MD4
seemed a lot more "sophisticated". The Pentax K10D sound is more sing-
song, softer and gentler.

So I went to a few other reviews. The EOS400D has a soft sounding
clickety shutter. The A100 compared to the 350D sounds
interesting ... the A100 has a nikon-like gallop, the EOS350D kind of
strains and wheezes. The Leica M8 preview has an interesting
comparison between the M7's soft cloth shutter "snick" and the M8's
somewhat harder metal shutter "ca-click". The *ist DS sound includes
comparisons to both the D70 and *ist D ...

I'll just have to live with whatever sound the darn things make, eh?
Perhaps we can orchestrate something with these sound bytes... :-)
