I'm posting this a day early because I have to make a quick decision as to
if I am going to ship the camera to Pentax for repair or not.
The built-in flash is not working. Once I pop it up, it gives a "depleted
battery" display, and won't allow the shutter to fire. Luckily I never use
the built-in flash (it was a fluke that I even figured this out), so it
has not affected my usage. I do, however, need the money for other things
now, so the camera is for sale. Other than the flash problem, the camera
is in fine working order. The image count is at about 5900, and
cosmetically the camera is in very good shape.
Camera comes with box, literature, cords, cd, etc (i.e., everything it
came with new). Asking price is US$450 with a CF card and shipping within
the U.S.A. included, but I will consider any offers that come my way
before trying my luck at ebay.
Also, I have the battery grip, 3 more Sandisk CompactFlash cards, and an
AC adapter for this unit. I can also include them if you'd like to
negociate price. Otherwise, once / If I sell the camera, I will be looking
to sell these accessories as well.
