Thanks Godders, what I expected.

Yeah, I use a Lexar Firewire CF reader and when I need to put some MP3s
onto the Treo I pop in a 5-in-1 adapter I got from Jersey:

Works very well.

I expect I'll pick up a USB 1 SD reader for the lad, he's got more spare
time than me ;-)
