Yes, the scooters are underexposed a bit...
That print was not the best I made from that frame; I had to use
an old file since my scanner is still out of order.
Anyway, the negative is underexposed because the camera read the
light in the center. I should try to scan the neg itself and see
what I can do.
The second answer is no, there is no cropping... at least I
haven't cropped the file, but there is a bit of cropping on the
print itself (made with a great russian UPA enlarger, the one
you can disassemble and put in the case that acts as printing
base) due to the film holder, that shows 92-93% of the frame. On
the frame you only see a little more of the wheel on the left
and something more on the right, but that's all.
I'm glad you like the composition, it's a matter of pride for me
that I take half of the shots with my P&S without looking
through the finder... and they usually come out as they should.
