Brian, it has been reported that Pentax Photo Lab creates *uncompressed* 
DNG files. Your Adobe DNG Converter has same option. I suggest you 
compare the side of *uncompressed* DNG file created by Adobe DNG 
Converter with that of the file you obtained with Pentax software.
