Boris, there are several free automatic broken link checkers out there which might help. For example: http://validator.w3.org/checklink which has the benefit of not even having to install anything, and http://linkchecker.sourceforge.net/ which is available for Windows or Unix/Linux/MacOS But more importantly, excellent photos!
