I have a silly question.

If the guidelines, in place for at least a couple of years, stated that
Themed submissions required Pentax lens or body and Open could be any K or
M42, why is there even a problem? A submission that didn't meet the existing
guidelines should have been politely refused and everyone could get on with
their lives. No offence to anyone (since I'm not sure who is doing the
gallery) but it sounds like a screw-up at the Gallery end and doesn't
require a major arguement about what is/isn't Pentax equipment.

Just so people know, I have 2 Pentax bodies, 2 other K-mount bodies, 6 M42
bodies (no Pentax) and three medium format bodies. I have lenses that are
Pentax, Vivitar and many other brands. I can meet whatever guidelines are
set if I choose to submit anything again. But why change the rules?
