This last trip, I carfully packed both my Zone VI and the 028, but managed to not take a hex plate for the 028. The Wimberley head is nice, I should probably have just used the Zone VI, but it is such overkill for the istD and a shorter focal length lens. I was trying to shoot model airplanes taking off and landing on the Slocan lake with the A600/5.6 on the Wimberley. That works like a hot damn!!! let me tell you. I had more success with the A400/5.6, but the good shots I got with the 600 are really nice. I think you will find that if you had the entire post in focus, the picture would have more 3 dimensionality. I was thinking of you when I took one particular picture this time.
