Greece is nice. I've been to several of the islands over the years, including Santorini. I arrived on Santorini after spending a month on Serifos, which was very quiet, unspoiled and idyllic at the time (don't know if it's changed since). Santorini felt very touristy and busy to me, as a result, but it's very photogenic with nice sunsets over the caldera. The black sand on the beaches is a peculiar experience.
The climb up from the ferry port is quite hard work. -- Cheers, Bob > -----Original Message----- > From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On > Behalf Of Amita Guha > Sent: 29 September 2006 15:44 > To: Pentax-Discuss Mail List > Subject: Re: leaving soon for Greece > > On 9/28/06, Jens Bladt <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > Satorini is the place to photograph. > > Thanks, Jens.
