-----Oprindelig meddelelse----- Fra: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] vegne af Godfrey DiGiorgi Sendt: 26. september 2006 17:24 Til: Pentax-Discuss Mail List Emne: Re: [gdgphoto.com] exhibit notice: "Traveler" travels to Sunnyvale There is a Starbuck's Corporate contract that the store manager and artist must sign. It lays out the requirements and restrictions for both, and requires sign-off by the district manager as well, maybe some higher-ups on top of that. I don't have time to scan and send you a copy, but the store manager should be able to find it. in brief: - There's no direct compensation. - Any sales or handling of the artwork is directed to the artist. - All liabilities are the responsibility of the artist. - Advertising, any association of the Starbucks name or logo with the artist, is forbidden. - Any collateral materials must be approved by the store manager, as well as the art being shown. To me, it's an opportunity to show and be noticed, I'm willing to put in the effort. It takes a store manager with the desire to do it and a good relationship with the district manager to make it happen. I worked with the SM carefully to make my flyers, cards and announcements compliant with the guidelines. Sitting in the cafe yesterday, I was impressed with how many people walked the round of pictures and read all the tags, read my statement on the wall, in a half hour period yesterday. I hope it generates some interest ... :-) Godfrey On Sep 26, 2006, at 3:26 AM, Paul Stenquist wrote: > Hi Godders, > Was the local manager able to grant permission for the Starbuck's show > or did he have to consult corporate headquarters?
