Last night was my first try at using the *istD for night time sports/band photography. The lights at the stadium appeared to be mercury vapor or something similar. Anyway, I set the ISO at 1600 and was showing shutter speeds of 1/45 to 1/60. The noise is no worse than 800 speed film, and some of the shots are burned out due to slight over exposure. Overall I'm pleased with the results and they're fairly easy to get the color right using Adobe RAW in Elements 5.0.
