It might amuse you to watch this one -
I have gotten 3 queries about it - two of which asked me if
there were any
extras with it! wha????

The first person merely asked -- I wrote and stressed THIS
IS A DEAD CAMERA nothing
with it... unlikely it could be fixed, selling for parts
(all, of course was in
the description.)

Second guy wrote and asked the same thing...
He made the mistake of asking that yesterday after my cat
peed on a chair,
I couldn't balance my checkbook, the guy didnt show to help
me with the computer,
etc.... I'm afraid I wasn't quite as tactful as I might have
been and started the
reply to him with "Extras???" then
pointed - by way of quoting my description - that it was
just the dead camera, not even a strap, mentioned that it was
very unlikely it could be fixed, being sold as is, etc.

And wrote that one should
always read the full description about something on
ebay...etc

He wrote back and called me an asshole! and said he had been
fixing Canons for 30 years
and if anyone could fix it he could, put down my writing and
then said he was going
to put a bid of $190 on it but now it was in the trash.
sigh.

THen someone else wrote today and asked me if I'd take $60
for it!
I wrote him a very tactful reply saying it already had bids
and lots of watchers
and I couldn't now put a BIN on it and it would be fair, if
not outrightly
prohibited by ebay. Was he trying to buy it OFF EBAY? I
don't know.

So are there any side bets on what someone might actually
pay for it?

here is the link - though it might amuse .
