Well, then ... based on my personal experience with the camera, here's my
review:

I love the image quality - noise is practically nonexistent @ ISO3200. At
ISO 200 the images are so clean, crisp, and clear that they hurt my eyes.
Had to wear sun glasses to appreciate their perfection and beauty. The
camera handles like a dream, it's ergonomics are perfect for me, although I
do wish the grip were 1mm narrower when using long lenses just to aid
balance a bit. The view through the finder using slower lenses could be
improved with a somewhat brighter screen, but since I don't have or use
slower lenses it's not an issue for me. I love the simplicity and ease of
the menu system - everything is self explanatory, and there was no need to
use the manual. Battery life was better than expected. Even with a little
chimping I estimate over well 750 shots per charge can be attained.
Autofocus was fast, smooth, and accurate, much more so than with the DS.
I'm sure if I had an auto focus lens I'd be even more satisfied with the
system. SR worked perfectly. Hand holding long lenses at very slow
shutter speeds should result in perfectly sharp images, and a minimal of
post processing sharpening would be needed.

The battery grip might be a little bulky and cumbersome, but I'm sure it
will be fine. Can't wait to get one to try it out

On a scale of five stars I'd rate the camera at 4.90 ....

Shel
