Yes I did. This video proofs or more suggests that it is fast with non USM lenses too. My only concern now is the IQ. If my expectations about IQ are fulfilled the K10D is a milestone. The *istD was important indeed as a statement. The K10D looks like a more refined camera. Not state of the art, but very competitive in its segment.

I dunno about "USM" speed of course but I can tell you that AF with DA18-55 at 55 (f/5.6) is *at least* 2-3 times faster than a D with NiMH. 2006/10/5, Tim Øsleby <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>: > This is not my main concern about the K10D, but I've been thinking a bit > about it. > I don't know how scientific this video at YouTube.com, comparing Sony Alpha, > Canon 400D and Samsung GX10 is, but it should tell us something. > http://www.youtube.com/p.swf?video_id=J4za9azUHz4&eurl=&iurl=http%3A//sjl-st > atic4.sjl.youtube.com/vi/J4za9azUHz4/2.jpg&t=OEgsToPDskKw9m4IDnBGvql-DscnV3K > S > > http://tinyurl.com/kg9hy > > I don't worry about AF speed anymore :-) > It seem to be way faster than the competitiors. > > > Tim > Mostly harmless (just plain Norwegian) > > > > > > -- > PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List > [email protected] > http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net > -- Thibault Massart aka Thibouille ---------------------- *ist-D,Z1,SuperA,KX,MX, P30t and KR-10x ;) ... -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [email protected] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [email protected] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net
