Technical Info.:
Pentax *ist-Ds ISO 800 @ 1/1000sec (Av)  (-1.0EV)
smc Pentax F 70-210mm f4.0~5.6 @ 210mm f11.0

Note: Maybe -1.0 EV wasn't enough exposure compensation.  The feathers 
don't read as blown out but there's little enough detail in the top of 
the bird.

Nice shot of the bird, Peter, but I think the framing leaves something to be 
desired.
