But, the press photos of the K10D clearly show an absence of a mechanical aperture coupling lever. And the (mis)released manual from a couple of days ago documents the same behavior as the K100D. Can anyone confirm this for sure one was or the other? Also, can anyone explain to me why the K100D (and apparently the K10D) disable (a) non-central AF sensors (for focus confirmation, not AF, obviously) and (b) all the metering modes except CWA when using a pre-A lens? I cannot conceive of any possible reason these features would care about the lens aperture being set manually. Thanks!
