Its very simple exposure compensation to the software.
Probably could be written in 10 minutes by one person.
And its not even new (earlier film bodies had it ) so
That makes it even easier.

Ummm, no. It's more likely something in the range of 25-35 cost.
You are forgetting that they now have to integrate the simulator into 
the camera's software.
Anyway, get over it, life is too short to be continuously pissed off.
