I have the Vivitar Series I 19-35. I bought it for a trip up north where I
wanted a more recta linear wide angle than the F 17 - 28. It's a good lens
- fairly sharp and good color rendition. The only problem I experienced
was with flair - I had a few shots that could have been titled "Beam me up,
Scotty" - the flair looked like the old transporter beam on Star Trek. For
indoor shooting and shots where the sun is not hitting the lens (kind of
hard with an ultra-wide) it's great.
