I called the earlier poster an ignorant moron
Because he posted that the K/M support had
Been dropped in the name of progress when there
Is no progress or new feature in the mount.
If you don’t want open aperture metering or AE
That’s you, BUT I DO WANT IT especially when it
Would be so cheap to add and very feasable in
A $1000 body.

I have a K 85/1.8, a K 135/2.5, a K 50/1.4, a K 105/2.8, a K 28/3.5,
a K24/3.5, an M 200/4 and an M35/2 -- I once had many more K and M
lenses. The ones I still have I use on my *istD quite effectively. I
don't need an aperture simulator. (I also have a Vivitar Series 1
90/2.5 macro (the first version). It's the equal of Pentax lenses,
save for the coatings. It also works fine on the *istD. I use it
quite often.) I use A, DA and FA lenses as well. No problem with any
of my lenses. Rage on, JCO. Tell me I'm an ignorant moron!
