I may try and take some photos of this over the weekend using my 3048mm 
lens, f/10 lens, *ist D, short exposures and stacking.

Not sure what'll come up with.

The photo in the middle row, left side, is quite nice.

It rises after sunset and should be approximately in line with the handle of 
the Big Dipper, a 'short distance' away, for N. hemisphere observers.  Not 
naked eye visible. Maybe visible with binoculars.
