Yes. The T90 was a highly desireable camera on the used Market a while back ( still is? I don't know ). I suspect that all of the mint to near mint high End film bodies for FD are still worth good money Even in thise ere of EOS and DSLRS. jco

It was an economic decision for sure. Force the FD users to buy into a new system, and hope that they aren't too pissed off to buy another Canon. A friend of mine had a T-90, which was very similar to one of the early EOS camera bodies, as you may recall. It stopped firing the flash at some point not long after the introduction of the EOS, so he sent it to Canon Canada for repair. They sent back a basket case (literally, I saw the thing, it looked like a goat had exploded in the box), and told him it was unrepairable. They offered him a good price on an EOS camera body as a goodwill gesture. The T-90 suited his needs very well, he didn't need or want the new AF technology, or the new and improved interface. He wanted to use a metal bodied lens with good manual focus feel. Canon's lack of support didn't go over well with him.
