The SMCT and SMCP 135 f2.5 lenses are more identical in proprotions than 
any other pair m42 and early K twins, except for the mount and rings.  
The base on the Takumar is quite wide, just as wide as that on then 
Pentax K.  It entirely covers the K mount body flange when mounted with 
an adapter, (and overhangs the body flange on an M42 lens quite a bit as 
well).
