While I was living in Cork, Ireland, some friends of mine didd "Road Bowling". They threw an iron ball along the road. He who made the goal in fewer strikes than the others was the winner. This sport is done ind Gernmany, Ireland, Netherlands, Italy and a few other places. A lot of betting went on during the game - I guess perhaps in total 43000-40000 USD changed hands on a Sunday afternoon! I'll post some pictures some day soon! Regards
