LOL Any of these devices with flash-based and/or disk-based software should be upgradable to handle SD v2.0 specification cards. Whether the manufacturers provide the updates, and in how timely a fashion, is a question mark. I've written Epson to see if they can state any plans regards the P2000 storage tank (and its siblings) with regard to SDHC and K10D support. It would be great if they supported both the DNG RAW format files with viewing too. Godfrey BTW: I took the P2000 along on this year's 3-week trip again. I was using it for RAW storage backup this year as I had my laptop along with me, didn't need it so much to review my day's work. I made about 1500 some exposures, all RAW format, with the *ist DS on 1 and 2 Gbyte capacity SD cards over the course of the trip. This activity required a total of one battery recharge during the trip, at about the equivalent of 12 full 1G card uploads. That's roughly 1100-1200 RAW exposure transfers on a Li-Ion battery that has been used for a year and a half. I see very little difference in battery performance from what I was seeing a year ago. Needless to say, I'm satisfied with it. :-) -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [email protected] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net
