No one knows - but most of us are guessing, it will never come back. It's a
pre A-lens thing.
IIRC the A-lense were introduced in 1983-84 as the Super A and Program A was
introduced. The Super A was "European Camera of the Year" in 1984, I
believe. Great camera at the time. But this was 22 years ago. At that time I
had probably only seen very few computers. At the office the secretaries
were using IBM ball-haed type writers - with no memory. If she made an
error, she'd have the retype the whole page. We had no CD's, no printers, no
laser, no cellular phones, no digital cameras etc etc.

That was totally different times, my friend :-).
I'm sure Pentax will not go any further (than the green button) supporting
the technolgy of that time.
I can't say I blame them - even if I somtimes miss the aperture simulater
too :-)
