I am making an educated guess based on what
They did for years on low end low priced cameras
And looking at what they charge for much more
Costly things like anti ahake ( that's $100 retail).
I don't know for sure and either do you otherwise.

A couple of questions:

How do you know the part in question costs $5.00? Does the $5.00
reflect
only the cost of materials, or does it include any manufacturing and
setup
costs to implement the item in cameras that were designed not to include
the part? Even though it's a mechanical part, might there not have to
be
some software or firmware changes to use the simulator in a camera such
as
the K10D? What would be the cost of upgrading or changing the firmware
to
accommodate such a change? How can the "trivial" cost of software be
LESS
than the _free_ GB code? If the cost is trivial, there's still a cost,
and
if the GB code was, indeed free (unlikely - someone was paid to work on
it), then the trivial cost becomes greater than that which you have
self-proclaimed is free.

Why do you keep harping on this? We all know your position, some of us
even agree with you, yet you won't just let it go. You drone on and on
and
on with the same tired and worn out rhetoric, making yourself look all
the
fool. Are you on some meds that you have neglected to take?
