Not necessarily, Joe. While I do not wish to fuel this any more than necessarily by feeding my own speculation, I believe they ship overseas incrementally as the production proceeds until each importer gets what they ordered. I don't think it's like they sit in the warehouse in Japan and suddenly ship the all out at once. If anything, I am sure that Pentax rather want the stock sitting in the importers' warehouse :-). In any case, while we are bickering on this, days pass by fast and it is not too far before we have shiny K10D in our hands :-). Ken ----- Just discussing, Ken, not bickering. If Pentax Japan owns the importers, then cameras sitting in a warehouse in, say, Golden, Colorado, are a cost to the company just as if the cameras were in Japan or Manila. I should have clarified that. I have seen suggestions that your scenario is correct: Importers are already receiving shipments.
