Hi everybody,
A few days ago I've placed an order for a brand new 90/2.8 for
my 6x7 but some recent post made me doubt about my choice... I
have no true reason to prefer the wider angle of the 90 to the
105/2.4 (which is available in the shop, while I have to wait
for the 90), apart from the possibility to use it like a "long"
normal lens on my 645 bodies (the 105 being too long for that)
and the shorter minimum focusing distance. I also thought that
having already the 165/4 LS the 105 would be too close.
Anyway, what is the real difference between these two lenses?
Color rendition, micro and macro contrast, light fall-off,
distorsio, etc.?
Somebody claimed a better resolution wide open for the 105,
which can be useful...
