I saw that one too. I think he's got problems with the focus on his Canon 85/1.2L exposures. If you look carefully, you can see the sharpness increasing towards the back of the subject plane on at least two of the examples. The Canon 85/1.2L is a superb lens ... not that I think it's better than the FA77, but it is quite comparable at least in sharpness from my short experience using one. It was too pricey and too large/heavy for my tastes, but I had no issues with its performance.
