It's fairly easy to understand, Kostas, and it isn't crap. And Cotty isn't "folks", he's Cotty. As English presumably isn't your first language, I am sure you will not mind me pointing out that a final "s" usually denotes a plural. As "folk" is a collective noun, it is impossible to address a single person as either "folk" or "folks".
